The OM Festival FAQ’s

The word Om is defined by Hindu scripture as being the primordial sound of creation. It is the original vibration of the universe.  We think that Vermont is a magical place that also has strong energy and universal vibrations. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Amie & Sam two of the Co-Founders are born and raised in Arlington, Vermont with strong roots to Vermont. Our dream came true as we are in year three of curating The Om festival. Every year we add more experiences, more classes, more food and beverage experiences and grow our Om community.   We can’t wait to share our hometown with you!   The OM Festival will be held again at the West Mountain Inn in Arlington, Vermont set on 175 acres above the Battenkill River.

The OM Festival is a 5 day transformational festival experience. We will offer 100+ classes in yoga, meditation, flow arts, dance and life changing workshops. Our vision is that this your annual retreat for you where you trek to Vermont and meet up with your Om family and fellow Om’ies. This is where your transformation begins! Time to Reset, Recharge and Renew your soul!

There are only a limited number of tickets to this exclusive event.  We start selling 4 day and 3 day passes and as the festival gets closer we will have a limited number of day passes available unless we sell out.  We encourage folks to come for the whole festival as that is truly the festival experience that is life changing but we understand that not everyone can come for all five days. Please note, the prices increases every month as the festival gets closer.   We encourage you to buy your festival passes early for the best deals. Note: No refunds. This is a rain or shine event.

This is an exclusive event with a limited number of tickets.  Once the tickets for The Om Festival are sold out that is it there are no more tickets.   We highly encourage you to purchase your general admission (GA) ticket in advance for the best price and to be one of the first OM’ies in our community.  Once the tickets sell out, they are gone!  Hurry and get your ticket today as the price increases each month as we get closer to the festival.  Buy your tickets early for the best deal.

Yes! This event is for all abilities and all ages. We want you to learn and try yoga, dance, meditation and ecstatic dance  in a safe and fun environment. All of our classes are taught by world renowned certified teachers.

Yes, there is parking.  However, there is very limited parking on site.  All attendees driving a car will have to purchase a parking pass per car  which you can purchase from our website in advance.  We encourage you to car pool together and walk to the festival.

We have 6 VIP parking passes available for sale that allow you to park behind the main barn at the Inn.  All other spots will be on the bottom of the hill and you can walk up.  When you arrive you can park for 15 minutes to check in at the check in circle and entrance to Vendor Village.

Absolutely, it takes a Village to put on a massive event like The OM Festival. We have an application to apply to be a VIP volunteer at OM. Go to the main page and select, GET INVOLVED and fill out an application. Our  Volunteer Coordinator will reach out and will be your main point of contact if selected to be a volunteer. We love our volunteers. Volunteers get access to our Teachers Hospitality Lounge, VIP Volunteer Dinner and more goodies!

• Yoga mat, straps, blocks, a blanket and a bolster or pillow if you want one.
• Festival clothes and costumes to dance the night away. Be a light up fairy or bring butterfly wings or whatever strikes your fancy. Please no nudity.
• River Tube if you want to go tubing. We recommend you buy one in advance from Amazon or you can rent one via a local river rafting company.  But they also make great seats especially if you have two of them at the festival and at your camp!  We will have an air compressor on site to blow those babies up!
• Extra clothes as the weather in Vermont can change at any time. Bring wool warm socks, a rain jacket, pants, shorts, yoga pants as it can get chilly even in July in Vermont and it may rain.
• Block, strap, blanket, pillow and/or any type of props that you have at home.
• Cash for the day
• Your phone although cell service is very limited in Vermont
• Bottle of water
• Snacks
• Your beautiful self
• Your girlfriends!  Festivals are always more fun with your besties!
•  Cell phone charger
•  River shoes to go tubing
• Good walking shoes and/or hiking boots for our hikes
• Bathing suit for swimming in the Battenkill River
• Sunscreen

Yes there will be primitive camping available on site for an extra fee which means that you have to bring all of your gear with you. These are bare sites. No amenities.  There will be showers and bathrooms at the main inn and barn and you will need to purchase a shower token. Bring a wheeled cart as you have to walk to your campsite and or carry all of your belongings in a backpack and trek out to the field.  Plan on carrying all of your items in and take them all out.   We do not have staff available to set up your tents or carry your stuff.   Please plan ahead accordingly.  Please do not leave behind any trash.  Let’s keep Vermont Green!  There will be other options for upgraded car camping along the Battenkill River as well as car camping with various sizes available for you to purchase.  Car camping means you park your car in front of your tent.  Tickets will be for sale on our website for primitive camping, upgraded camping options, car camping and parking passes.  Note, there are several campgrounds in Arlington Vermont such as Howells Pond Camping (you can actually walk to the Inn from here), Camping on the Battenkill and Roaring Branch Camps and Cabins.

Yes, there will be a limited number of car camping tickets available for an add on fee.  River Car camping will be directly on the famous Battenkill River (About a 10 min walk to the main Inn/festival.). Camping in The Other Land will be primitive base camping will also be available for as an add on when you buy your festival ticket and we have Car Camping. Note, limited number of primitive base camping tickets and car camping tickets are available.   Note, you will NOT be able to drive your car to unload for primitive camping.  It is located in on site, in an open field above the Inn called “The Other Land.”  Expect to carry all of your belongings in to the festival. Bring your own towels. Do NOT ask the West Mountain Inn for towels to shower or for soap. Bring your own towels and soap, shampoo, conditioner etc…

No, there are no campfires or open flames allowed. Please bring a small propane camping stove or small camping propane burner.   There will be campfires near the main Inn for all attendees to enjoy each evening.

No, sorry we do not allow any pets on site at the main West Mountain Inn, Vendor Village, all barns and tents or campground. There are resident doggies on site as well as the resident Alpaca’s.  Please leave your furry friends at home.  Service Animals and ESA support animals are allowed and must be on leash at all times. If your dog is running around loose we may ask you to leave as we can not have ESA and Service Animals loose at the festival as it is a safety hazard.

The closest airport is The Albany International Airport located in Albany, NY. This is about a one hour drive from Arlington, Vermont.  Airport code ALB

No, Uber and Lyft are not available in Vermont. There are very few taxi services as well. Please reduce your carbon footprint and plan on car-pooling to the festival or rent a car from the Albany Airport before you arrive. There are a couple of car rental places in Bennington Vermont and beyond but very limited number of cars to rent in rural Vermont.

This is a rain or shine event, and absolutely no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

This event also serves as a fundraiser supporting local New England nonprofits, including Ancient Healing Paths, with a portion of proceeds going directly to their important work.

If you’re unable to attend, tickets are transferable — but you must contact us in advance of the festival. We’ll need the full name of the person attending in your place to ensure a smooth check-in.

Yes, just keep your wristband on so you can show it to our team and re-enter at the festival entrance.

Our micro festival takes place in beautiful Vermont and will go on no matter the weather. Please note that there are no refunds, and no rain date is scheduled.

The majority of our classes will be held inside the main barn or under large tents, providing shelter from the elements. However, outdoor hikes and excursions will still take place—even in the rain.

We encourage you to come prepared to experience Vermont in all its seasons. Please pack:

• Extra clothing

• Rain gear

• An umbrella

• Comfortable shoes for wet conditions

That depends on ticket sales as this is an exclusive event with a limited number of tickets.   Thus, if we have spots open then we will be selling day passes and all-access multi-day passes at the door. Note, you will need to purchase a parking pass as parking is extremely limited. Note, the longer you wait to purchase your pass the price of the ticket increases each month. Thus, for the best deal purchase your tickets early.

We also will be selling food and beverage experience tickets, spa treatment tickets and Om clothing at the festival. You will be able to sign up for these at the festival check in desk.  Note: All tickets are non refundable. No exceptions as this is a rain or shine event.

Yes, there are food options and food vendors at the Inn and festival.

There will be food vendors on site for you to purchase food at the festival.  We also have several food and beverage dining experiences that we will offer such as farm-to-table dinners, wine, cheese and chocolate night, wood fired pizza night, founders brunch and more!  We encourage you to bring some food/snacks with you as well and we have a list in the Plan My Trip section of local restaurants, stores etc…
