Sam Grout
Co-Founder of OM
Sam Grout is a sixth generation Vermonter, yogi, techie, mindfulness expert, retreat leader and open source evangelist. She is the Founder of Yoga Fun Day and SAM TALKS. Sam graduated from AMHS and the University of Vermont with a MBA and Bachelor of Science from the School of Natural Resources. Sam has over 10+ years of experience in running large scale yoga events, open source days, technical conferences and yoga festivals across the country. She has worked for Wanderlust Festivals, Stratton Mountain Resort, The Equinox Resort & Spa, Rock Resorts, Hotel Del Coronado, KSL Resorts, Hemmings Motor News, GE, Walmart, Texas Instruments and currently is a Project Manager at Amazon Web Services. She has taught corporate yoga to Amazon and the YogaShape method all around the US. Sam is on a mission to get people to Unplug & Unwind. Sam is delighted to be a co-founder of The OM Festival and to finally bring the vision of OM to life and have it kickoff in her hometown of Arlington, Vermont. Click here for more info on Sam
Amie Emmons
Co-Founder of OM
Amie Emmons is an Arlington, Vermont native and owner of the West Mountain Inn. She is delighted to be one of the Co-Founders of The OM Festival and bring this festival to Arlington, Vermont in Summer 2023.
Jean Goodrich
Operations Director
Jean Goodrich is our enthusiastic Director of Operations. She is the owner of Starling Retreat, a rapidly growing educational and therapeutic retreat in Cabot,Vermont. She has an extensive background in event management and is excited to help create a smooth and successful business experience for all who participate in OM.
Ifa Halima Bumi
Stage Director
Ifa Halima Bumi is a multi-faceted, creative, mystic, intuitive soul with seedful gifts. She is creating a space with her sound and sending a message of empowerment and healing through music and is our official Stage Director for The OM Festival.
The New York/Florida-based DJ, didgeridoo musician and owner of SHEER ELAN LLC, a audio video entertainment company, has been on a path of sacred service since 2016 electrifying hearts and souls within her reach. She has served as the official resident DJ for some of the hottest venues like Petanque Kitchen and Bar, events like POWER HOUSE by The Litt Factor, and host programs that air globally on Outreach Radio out of the UK.
While advocating for the journey of deep healing and love in its purest form, music flows through Ifa Halima Bumi and manifests itself through shared moments and experiences of life.
DJ Bumi will be spinning the tunes at OM to get you into the right mood. More info coming soon.
